And here comes another storm.
Tropical Storm Beta formed in the Gulf of Mexico on Friday.
The 22nd storm of the 2020 hurricane season was expected to strengthen into a tropical storm while moving slowly over the western Gulf of Mexico during the next several days, according to a National Hurricane Center advisory on Thursday.
Currently, Beta is 335 miles east northeast of Tampico, Mexico and 280 miles east southeast of the mouth of the Rio Grande.
If it turns into a tropical storm, it would be known as Tropical Storm Beta.

The storm is in the early stages and it’s unclear what areas could see direct wind, storm surges and rainfall impacts from the system.
A slow northeastward motion is expected through early Saturday with a slow turn toward the north and then the west.
